The game of baseball is a lot like the game of life. You have to work hard every day, and the only way to enjoy yourself is to change your perspective on things. A player/athlete can be happy doing anything, whether it be extremely difficult, or extremely easy, It is all in the way you look at it. You have to try and teach your athletes that they do not
HAVE
to go to practice. They do not
HAVE
to wake up at 6 a.m. to go work out. They do not
HAVE
to take 200 swings in the cage. They
GET
to.
It is our job as coaches to teach these students of the game not only to be better baseball players, but to be better people. We will teach them to give it their all, with a smile on their face. Teach them to be comfortable being uncomfortable. We believe it is our job to prepare our athletes for life on the field, as well as life after. We know we can use our knowledge and experience to help kids become the greatest players they can be. We strive, day in and day out, to mold them into the best kids, students, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and people they can become.
